In the fall of 2024, Artem returned to the professional competition floor with his partner Ricci-Lee Hotz in the American rhythm style and since then, they have been climbing in the ranks, winning the Professional rising star divisions at multiple competitions around the country, placing in the open professional finals at many of these events and also became finalists in the professional rising star division at the nationally prestigious competition, Ohio Star Ball. In October 2025, Artem moved to Minneapolis to begin teaching all styles of ballroom and latin dance at Dance With Us America and so that him and Ricci can continue their professional competitive dance journey now living in the same city. When Artem is not dancing, he also enjoys singing, acting, and has a passion for health and nutrition.Artem Lazarev is originally from the Ukraine and has been dancing since he was 12 years old. Since he has become a 9X Ukrainian Latin champion, 3X Ukrainian Standard champion; 2X Ukrainian 10-Dance champion. He was also the European Cup winner in Latin and ranked as high as 13th on the world rankings. He moved to the USA in 2015 and became teaching in Chicago.
